Montgomery Township, NJ Duct Cleaning, Dryer Vents and Flues
Montgomery is a Somerset County township of 23,690 people at the 2020 census, 32.5 square miles with the Millstone River along its eastern edge. Its population nearly doubled in the 1990s, most of its houses are younger than forty years, and about a third of them draw water from private wells.
Montgomery took its place among New Jersey's first townships in 1798, named for General Richard Montgomery, who died at Quebec in 1775. Its older places keep their village names, Belle Mead, Blawenburg, Harlingen, Skillman and Stoutsburg, and Harlingen's first church went up around 1750, Blawenburg's in 1830. Then came the fastest growth in the county: the population nearly doubled during the 1990s, and school enrollment tripled between 1992 and 2005. Census estimates put the median house in 1994, and half the housing in the 1990s and 2000s.
